Black Keys Protégé Jessica Lea Mayfield Performs 'Our Hearts Are Wrong' On Letterman

Black Keys protégé Jessica Lea Mayfield made her network television debut last week on Late Night With David Letterman playing her new song "Our Hearts Are Wrong." The singer/songwriter sounds like Lucinda Williams if she fronted Wilco. She met Black Keys frontman Dan Auerbach when she was still in high school. "Dan sent me a MySpace message," she told Rolling Stone earlier this month. "He was like "Hey, I play in a local band called the Black Keys.'" Auerbach went on to produce both of her albums, and in 2007 she sang on their album Attack And Release.
