President Obama has released a 24-song Spotify playlist on the Facebook page of his 2012 campaign for re-election. The eclectic mix features artists such as Florence and the Machine, No Doubt, Arcade Fire, Wilco, U2, Aretha Franklin, Sugarland, Booker T and the MGs, Dierks Bentley, REO Speedwagon and Raphael Saadiq. The President is especially fond of former Hootie and the Blowfish frontman Darius Rucker, as he is the only artist to have more than one song featured in the mix.
Unsurprisingly, Al Green's classic "Let's Stay Together" is part of the mix. Obama recently sang a snippet of the song at a fundraiser, and released a clip as a free ringtone after video of the moment went viral.
