Insert Yourself Into a Michael Jackson Music Video

Michael Jackson fans can now insert themselves into an interactive music video for the King of Pop’s song “Behind the Mask.”

The crowdsourced Behind the Mask project, available online via your Web browser, lets users choose a role (singer, dancer, extra, audience member, musician), then use a webcam to record a corresponding performance. After taping moves, lyrics and reactions, contributors can insert recorded clips into the music video, with the best clips to be selected by director Dennis Liu to be edited into a final collage.

Upon completion, the final video mash-up will be revealed for all to enjoy during the first week of April, presumably allowing complete strangers to marvel at your best falsetto or moonwalk.
