If Turntable FM was the internet equivalent of DJing a house party, Emotional Bag Check is more like a Catholic confessional booth with a pop soundtrack. The premise of the site is simple: You can unload your angst on an anonymous stranger, or read about someone else's problems and offer some advice along with a song of your choosing.

If done sincerely, it can be genuinely therapeutic and kind, but there's certainly room to be clever and wry, if not outright mean. For example, one user chose to answer a complaint about an aching neck with Khia's explicitly sexual hit "My Neck, My Back."
