'Dance Hero' Game Coming From Activision?

Weeks after shuttering its Guitar Hero music game franchise, Activision may be prepping dancing simulator Dance Hero for release, according to popular gaming website Kotaku.

Unnamed sources state that the software publisher's new music and rhythm title, reportedly in production, may include songs such as Timbaland’s “The Way I Are,” “2012” by Jean Sean and the Prodigy’s “Out of Space.” Support for motion control accessories including Kinect, PlayStation Move and the Wii Remote is also likely.

No official confirmation of the game or a prospective release date have been provided. Given the success of titles including Dance Central and Just Dance 2, which have topped 1 and 5 million copies sold, respectively, despite the music game genre’s decline, it hardly seems far-fetched.
