Awesome Apps: Live Streaming, Broadcasts Come to iPad

Live video streaming and broadcasting service Ustream has launched a new iPad app that includes a user interface specially designed for Apple’s popular tablet PC.

Available now as a free downloadable application via the App Store, viewers can use the program to broadcast live video monologues right from their iPad 2, or watch bored suburbanites debase themselves in real-time online. The software also allows users to browse other attention seekers’ Ustream shows, follow respective feeds and share footage via social networks such as Facebook and Twitter.

Featuring AirPlay support for beaming video to your TV, and following on the heels of a recent release for the service’s Android Honeycomb app, expect a marked uptake in online narcissism to follow soon.
