As the September 29th release date for Shania Twain's forthcoming album Now draws near, the country superstar has shared an official music video for the album's first single, "Life's About to Get Good."
The clip and song make multiple references the end of a relationship, presumably inspired by Twain's 2010 divorce from Mutt Lange. Mirroring the song's positive message of embracing new beginnings, the video shows a down-and-out Twain transformed by a vacation brochure come to life in colorful Broadway musical style. After a couple costume changes (yep, that's the outfit from "Man! I Feel Like a Woman"), a dance number that recalls La La Land, and a trip up some seriously magical stairs, Twain finds herself singing adjacent an ocean-side paradise.
In addition to "Life's About to Get Good," Twain has shared the Now cut "Poor Me." Earlier this month, she released the full album track list for both deluxe and standard versions of Now. She's currently the focus of a special exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville.
