Watch Cam's Emotional Cover of Tammy Wynette's 'Stand By Your Man'

"Burning House" singer reprises 1968 classic while visiting BBC Radio's 'The Chris Evans Breakfast Show'

Country legend Tammy Wynette is still an inspiration to the current generation of country crooners, but not every young artist can pull off a convincing Wynette cover. That's not the case for Cam, though, who delivered an impressive rendition of Wynette's beloved "Stand By Your Man" during a recent visit to BBC Radio's The Chris Evans Breakfast Show.

Accompanied by two acoustic guitarists and simple backing vocal harmonies, the "Burning House" singer gave an emotional, vocally acrobatic performance of the 1968 country classic, one that earned her cries of "Standing ovation!" at the conclusion.

Cam was overseas for a handful of live shows, including a stop at the Country 2 Country Festival at the O2 Arena in London. She'll soon hit the festival circuit in the United States, with confirmed performances at Stagecoach Festival in late April and Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in early June.
