Thomas Rhett has emerged as one of country music's most promising crossover artists, marrying Bruno Mars flair with his country roots. Rhett is poised to step further into that pop territory with his new single and the help of an equally pop-forward artist: Maren Morris. The two singers will release the duet "Craving You" on March 31st.
Co-written by One Direction producer Julian Bunetta and singer-songwriter Dave Barnes, the track is the first taste of Rhett's third studio album, the follow-up to the popular Tangled Up, which yielded four Number One singles, including the most recent release "Star of the Show."
In February, Morris delivered another high-profile duet, teaming up with Alicia Keys on the Grammy Awards. Both Morris and Rhett are set to appear at April 2nd's ACM Awards, but whether they'll perform together or not has yet to be confirmed.
Morris's headlining Hero Tour and Rhett's Home Team Tour each wrap up in April with two shows in Nashville.
The Academy of Country Music Awards air live on CBS, Sunday at 8:00 p.m./ET.
