After sharing the stage on CMT Crossroads last year, Maren Morris and Alicia Keys will reunite at the 59th Grammy Awards.
The singers displayed a palpable chemistry on Crossroads and a shared affinity for soul and R&B. By the end of the Grammys, they may have something else in common: in 2002, Keys was named Best New Artist, the same all-genre award for which Morris competes this year.
"Maren does her style and I do my style and they blend so well together. So I think that has been cool, to really learn that we are both 'go with the flow,' easygoing and all about making it great," Keys told Rolling Stone Country of working with Morris.
The "My Church" singer is nominated in four categories, including Best Country Solo Performance, Best Country Song and Best Country Album, for her debut Hero.
Other country artists set to perform at the Grammys include Keith Urban and Carrie Underwood, Little Big Town and Sturgill Simpson.
The 59th annual Grammy Awards air live from Los Angeles February 12th at 8:00 p.m. on CBS.
