Little Big Town are gearing up for a busy month, highlighted by the release of their new album The Breaker on February 24th.
To promote the record, the vocal group will launch a series of intimate concerts that evening at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium. Billed as the first-ever residency at the historic venue, the shows currently stand at nine, with more expected to be announced.
The Breaker is the award-winning quartet's eighth studio album and the first since taking an R&B detour with 2016’s Wanderlust with producer Pharrell Williams. For the new album, members Karen Fairchild, Jimi Westbrook, Kimberly Schlapman and Philip Sweet reunited with producer Jay Joyce, who oversaw their Pain Killer album and its breakout single "Girl Crush."
In October, Little Big Town released the debut single off The Breaker, "Better Man," written by Taylor Swift, and last week previewed the more upbeat song "Happy People" online.
Little Big Town will perform at Sunday's 59th annual Grammy Awards and will also take part in Stayin' Alive: A Grammy Salute to the Music of the Bee Gees, taped two days later for airing this year on CBS.
