Darius Rucker has assembled a particularly eclectic lineup for his eighth annual Darius & Friends benefit concert.

While country music is well represented – contemporary stars Dan + Shay and Michael Ray are on the bill, along with Country Music Hall of Fame member Ronnie Milsap – it's far from just a Nashville show. Rucker, the singer of Nineties favorites Hootie & the Blowfish, has also enlisted his colleagues from the rock world, including John Oates, who recently headlined Nashville's arena with partner Daryl Hall. Kiss guitarist Tommy Thayer is also set to perform. Together, it could make for some wildly unconventional collaborations.

After years at Nashville's Wildhorse Saloon, the 2017 show graduates to the Ryman Auditorium. Set for June 5th, Darius & Friends generates funds and awareness for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Rucker has already helped raise more than $800,000 for the facility, via his concerts, silent auctions and yearly golf tournament.
