Chris Stapleton and Miranda Lambert have likely been a dream duet for many country fans for a while, and now it's a reality: At a recent stop in Buffalo, New York, the pair joined forces to perform Stapleton's Traveller cut "Fire Away."
Lambert appeared on stage Sunday night to rapturous applause from the audience, trading vocals with Stapleton and his wife Morgane. It's likely that she was attending the show with boyfriend Anderson East, who has been opening for Stapleton on his All-American Road Show.
Earlier this year, Lambert surprised audiences when she, East, and both Stapletons offered up a rendition of the Temptations' "My Girl," which Chris and Morgane had been regularly incorporating into live sets.
Stapleton's All-American Road Show runs through mid-November, with guests including Margo Price and the Brothers Osborne. Lambert recently landed at Number 33 on Rolling Stone Country's list of the 100 Greatest Country Artists of All Time.
