Off the Cuff With Peter Travers: Jane Lynch

November 3, 2009 6:47 PM

Jane Lynch — a.k.a. acid-tongued Sue Sylvester from Glee and your favorite part of Best in Show, The 40-Year-Old Virgin and dozens more films — puts Peter Travers in his place in the new episode of Off the Cuff. Find out what originally drew her to the role (a few lines in the script about Penthouse and horse estrogen), her first-ever big-screen role, Taxi Killer ("the freakiest thing I ever did in my life") and her most humiliating TV commercial ("I am every woman who has ever suffered from reflux"). Plus, watch her sing the Guatemalan love song from Virgin and come up with a new theme song for Travers' show.

Jane Lynch is brilliant.

To NC: "Lovespring International" (Season 1) is available on iTunes (never released on DVD) Great team of actors and witty characters. Jane Lynch as Lovespring CEO is one of the highlights.

The songs in Glee are bland, the main actor isn't that charasmatic, and all the teenagers aren't that charasmatic either. It's not a terrible show, but it's just alright... that is except of course for Jane Lynch who is just too damn funny (the school's principal is pretty good too). She makes it worthwhile to go back to Glee each week.

There's a great show that stars her called Lovespring International that I happened to catch when I was in Italy. I can't find it anywhere else...I was wondering if anyone knew about it or had any idea where one may look.

I love Sue Sylvester. She could KICK MY ASS. Jane Lynch is a true credit to the movie/TV industry.

Jane Lynch is hilarious - she's always the best thing about a tv show or movie. Great interview btw.
