Can Ted Danson recall Norm from Cheers' real first name? Is he willing to sing the show's famous theme right here in the Rolling Stone office? Peter Travers grills the star of Damages, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Bored to Death about everything from smoking fake weed (which "works just as well," Danson says) to his relationship with Woody Harrelson in the latest episode of Off the Cuff.

Some interviews seem forcibly cheery and intimate. This one however was awesome. Perhaps it was because Travers actually had some respect for Danson. Whatever the reason, it was much better than the interview with the guy from the Saw movies.

Ted Danson is having a real renaissance right now and I'm so on board. Seeing him on Bored To Death and Curb lately just reminds me of a truly great talent he is. SO glad you recognize his comedy genius. Another great interview!
