Peter Travers looks back at the career of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button star and Rolling Stone cover boy Brad Pitt. From his breakthrough role in Thelma & Louise to his career-defining turn as Tyler Durden in Fight Club to his renaissance in films like Babel and Benjamin Button, watch as Peter Travers discusses and showcases Pitt's most noteworthy roles. Plus, we reminisce about Pitt in our 1992 feature in which we named Pitt the "Hot Actor" of the year and our 1997 interview with the actor on the set of Seven Years in Tibet.
Thanks for the reminder. I must profess most all he's films have been enjoyable; with an equal amount being stand out performances.
After he was shunned for Jesse James I lost all respect for the Academy. How they could overlook this too, was just beyond me.
But I guess if you don't fit their original mold you will never be given the break.
I don't think Redford ever got an acting award either, and he did great work too.

Travers left out an early Brad Pitt film, Cool World. It was a good little performance, but he was totally ignored until Thelma and Louise. Kalifornia was fun, Brad doing over the top, scary, trailer trash serial killer. He has an interesting body of work overall.
