just a nitpick, "The Bank Job" came out this year, not last year.

No, keep the chihuahua, please. It's funny and it's serious.

Yourself and Roger Ebert are probably the two critics that are most in touch with what a sensible moviegoer would expect when forking over $10 bucks - it doesn't always have to be no country for old men, but for the love of god please keep the chihuahua's to a minimum. This is why I usually go to this site when I'm wondering if I should see a film.
The Dark Knight was a perfect example of this - an excellent film, but not a best picture winner. There was a slew of critics who immediately bought soap boxes and stood up on them, proclaiming that everyone obsessed with ledger's brilliant performance missed that the plot fell apart and became convoluted. Your review captured just how amazing the film actually was, for what it was as a comic book movie redefining the genre.
I've just seen so many pompous, never-left-film-school reviews online these days, wanted to tell you to keep it up Travers!

I just saw Milk yesterday and I have to say that the film and Sean Pean easily deserve the Oscar! AMAZING!

Pete, enough with the chihuahua-bashing! i don't have even the slightest curiosity for the movie, but i'd watch it just to spite you!
