Peter, you really need to learn to keep some things under wraps in your reviews. Too often you give away key plot points that ruin a movie, even if it's a movie you like and suggest we go see. I rarely ever read your reviews before going to see a movie now, because I know you'll spoil it. This happened, most notably for me, when you reviewed Atonement, but this review for The Happening is beyond ridiculous. If you wanna discuss the movie and it's points, do it seperate of your review. You should be telling us if you liked the movie, not the plot of the movie. If the plot is THAT important to your review, then just say "I had issues with the plot". That's all you need to say, we will get it! It's beyond infuriating when you SAY you shouldn't give the twist away, and then you DO right away. Please, get your head screwed on, and realize that you are a respected movie critic for a resepected national publication, and you need to start acting like one in your reviews.

Peter Travers is not only a mediocrity; he's an amphetamine-paced snarky mediocrity. His David-vs.- Goliath taunts directed at Hollywood studios isn't sophisticated, just lazy and formulaic. Indeed, it is much more so than any Michael Bay action flick I can name.

The Happening is the worst movie i have ever seen. its awful. Plants Killing People with a chemicle?? are you Serious M Knight? do you really think so little of your audience.?AWFUL

What does it matter, Jeff? It matters because I want to hear what he thinks of the movie but not what happens in the movie. Just because HE didn't like it doesn't mean I won't see or I won't like it. Besides, it's just not right for a critic to give spoilers. Just critique the movie, nothing more.

This is the last time i watch peter's reviews! I cannot believe he says he won't give away what happens, but then explains the reason and solution (?) to the mistery. Infuriating.

I already knew what the "secret" was in The Happening, and have no intention of watching it, but for anyone else who might end up seeing it and haven't watched Peter's video yet, let me say this: SPOILERS!!!
