Great Review, man. Good movie, but not as great as the third Indy was. Exactly the same thing with Chrome Dreams 2. But I enjoyed watchin it as well.

"Crystal Dildo"? What's the purpose of that crudity? Seeing an elderly reviewer twice the age of Indiana Jones himself say such a thing doesn't look hip. It's embarrassing.

Hey Again Guys,
I've Seen Indiana Jones Four And What I Want To Say To You Is Lead Line Fridges Rock !!!
The Single Best Moment In Any Indiana Jones Movie Ever Is In This Latest Installment ! Indy Four Is Sick Thing Of Beauty !

I just wanted to say that I think if you haven't yet seen the all of Indiana Jones movies, prepared to watch the forth installment cause it is much better than the first. It has both Karen Allen and Harrison Ford teaming for 27 years as being sort a cute couple and Shai whom played their son and best of all Cate who is out a doubt one of the villian in this film have always admire these actors as being the icons towards every Indy movies there is at this point. It's good to see all of them together again especially the director Steven and George Lucas themselves have been working so hard to make this movie one of the best summer block buster film has ever made for 2008 ! Way to go guys keep up the good work as well !

It's just as good as the other ones, except maybe the first...
nothing beats the original.
I actually saw a reveiw in which someone criticized it for having too much action.
Maybe they should have focused on his teaching years, and just showed two hours of Indy's class room instruction.
You know Indy writing on the chalk board, Indy grading papers, Indy hanging out in the teachers lounge, Indy eating lunch in the cafeteria... maybe that would have left more room for "character development".

just saw Indy 4 and i have to agree with what Peter Travers has to say about spielberg and lucas, "good, just isn't good enough" the movie certainly had its moments, even realized I was grinning with excitement and saw some of the "spielberg magic". But did this movie really need to exist? The last crusade I thought brought a great conclusion to the series, but as it stands, i really think Shia can do it. he really could be the next Indiana Jones. I would like to see Speilberg and Lucas make something ORIGINAL, that would be exciting

i thought it was as good as the other one's, and didn't mind the "cliche overload". Spielberg magic was present and i would give it three stars.

You could wait for DVD or just see the flick on top of another flick that you paid for because this movie is dated in its plot and special effects. Better entertainment from National Treasure.

Good movie!

The movie studio didn't pay Peter Travers enough money under the table to write a favorable review here. C'mon this is Peter Travers we're talking about. He needs more bucks if he gonna write a great review with catchy phrases for ads like, "this is the movie everyone's gonna be talkin' about!" or "an edge of your seat thriller!" or how about "a roller coaster ride from start to finish!". No way - you studios have to pay up more $$$ if you're getting these statements from him.
Well said! You asshole | May 23, 2008 8:43 AM
Oh no, i spoiled some of the movie!
Why don;t you just tell us exactly everything that happens in the next review so we don;t have to go to the movies anymore, how about that
I agree | May 23, 2008 7:46 AM
Seen the movie last night. Very disappointed. Although the movie did have it moments, when all is said and done it was just plain bad ! Shame on Lucas and Spielberg, they should have done allot better than this.

Well said!
Although I enjoyed this Indy, it didn't establish the genuine Indy connection as previous films did. In a way all the latest come backs from the eighties -- Rocky, Rambo, Die Hard and Indiana -- didn't deliver to me. That's a bit sad, especially if one looks at the budgets of Indy 1--3 and compares them with nearly 200 millions for the fourth. Where did the money go? Something to digital monkeys and UFO, no doubt. But how much more effective seemed to me something like the huge rolling ball in Raiders, which I am sure cost way less than the scene with Shia the Tarzan.

Rolling Stone needs 2 hire some new blood the movie reviews and music reviews are played out, its almost like they just copy what the media think of something.
