God dammit, finally someone who relates. I live in a town called Cody, Wy, with over a 10,000 people living in this god forsaken place (thou screen writer Diablo Cody got her name from this town, Awesome). But everyone here who has seen Fool
s Gold, believed it's the best comedy of the year. After I saw this film, I wanted my date to slam my fuckin' head against the car hood. This movie had no chemistry with anybody, not even the dead beat daughter of the rich (and glorious, why oh why did you do this movie Donald) daddy played by Donald Sutherland. The characters would love eachother, hate, love, hate, fuck, love, hate and love over and over again. The fact is that the whole treasure movie genre is pathetic. And I must say Mr. Travis that rather have National Treasure in my DVD collection then this piece of shit movie. And the title says it all too, "FOOLS" gold. Seriously, the word fool should have been the hint to not be a dumb ass and see this movie. The trailer was convincing cause it was cut right, but the reason why this movie made so much, was because people were so fuckin drawn to that damn trailer. I fell for it and I feel like a dumbass, but that Hottie and the Nottie scoop, it's just as much a waste of sperm as that foolish piece of crap. Well, I guess we could consider it a canidate for the shittest movie over Gigli. I hate Hollywood couple bullshit films. Thanks for your time and great work. You truly are a god amongst movie fanatics.

I agree about Martin McDonagh's skill with language. Watching McDonagh's Oscar winning short film Six Shooter prepared me for In Bruges, and it was a thrill to watch Brendan Gleeson shine again.
