According to widespread internet rumors and a strong hint from Fred Durst on his MySpace, it appears Limp Bizkit have a reunion in the works. Here's what Durst blogged, coupled with our heartfelt comments.

Durst: "It is getting very close to time to drop the bizkit on the universe."

S.S.: For the love of God, don't drop the Bizkit. Leave the Bizkit wherever it is. Don't touch the Bizkit.

Durst: "We, Limp Bizkit, are excited about the future for us and for you."

S.S.: If there is chance of our paths crossing in the future, or of us having to listen to a new Limp Bizkit song, please kill us now.

Durst: "LBF is the way. LBF is for life. Let's stir some shit up my friends."

S.S.: Stirring is not a good idea. Stop stirring. Thank you.

Some promising news on the Kinks: Singer Ray Davies says he's stoked about the possibility of a reunion. Davies admits there are a few hurdles to jump before any definite plans are made, including his brother Dave's health (he had a stroke in 2004, which may hinder his guitar skills), and their ability to write new songs.

"There is a desire to do it, but the thing that would make me decide yes or no would be whether or not we could do new songs, even if it's four or five," said Davies. "My pitch to the other guys -- because I'm really for it -- was what would we have written if we hadn't have had our first hit, 'You Really Got Me?' I think new work is important for artists as they mature and get older."

Eminem is alive! Yesterday, he appeared on his Sirius station, Shade 45, and spoke about a possible return. "I always do side projects and produce for artists on the label," Em said. "I'm concentrating on my own stuff right now -- just banging out tracks. The more I keep producing, the better it seems I get. I start knowing stuff, learning the boards like the back of my hands."

Classic stall tactics!

It's been nearly four years since Em dropped his last decent album, Encore.

Do you think Em has lost his mojo?

After touring Earth behind their 2005 disc, In Your Honor, the Foo Fighters vowed to take a long-deserved vacation. But when Dave Grohl returned to his home in L.A., the birth of his daughter, Violet, inspired him to pick up the pen, and he cranked out another albums worth of cuts. Those songs would become the 2007 disc, Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace, and kickstart another world tour, highlighted by two sold-out gigs at London's massive Wembley Stadium that featured guest appearances by Zep's Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones.

Now, says Grohl, is the time to fade from the spotlight. "We've never really taken a long break, and I think it's time," Grohl says.
