Wilco Summer Tour!

Wilco has just announced a full-on North American summer tour in support of their June release!

Also, Wilco's new kick-ass DVD, Ashes of American Flags, will be released this Saturday, April 18th in conjunction with Record Store Day. If you pick up a copy of Ashes before April 28th, you'll get an added bonus -- a free download of any one of the five sets featured on the film. And if you're near the Knoxville, Tennessee area on Saturday, make sure you head over to the Disc Exchange for a special Wilco in-store appearance.

Austin, you would have lost your you-know-what if you saw Wilco in Athens, GA last night. They busted out rarities like "Box Full of Letters" and "Shouldn't Be Ashamed" from A.M. and "ELT" from Summerteeth. And Peter Buck, Scott McGaughey, and Ron Rifkin of R.E.M. joined Wilco on their 2nd encore to play "California Stars". This was the 5th time I've seen Wilco and I swear they get better and better every year.

Looks like an American tour to me, not North American. Where are the damn Canadian dates? I think you have to do at least one show in Canada and Mexico to have a North American tour!!
