We've got more rumors to share with you about the Allman Brothers upcoming twenty-night stand at New York's Beacon Theater!
The latest is that Ron Wood will spend at least one evening sitting in with the Allmans.
The same goes for the surviving members of the Grateful Dead.

Sounds pretty cool, but with Rod Stewart and Flea (and possibly Wood) denying the Faces planned reunion tour this summer was never planned or talked about smells fishy. I love Ron Wood, but I would have to be cautious of what the man now says his near-future plans include.
I like the Allman Brothers pretty well, although I never cared for the Dead. I respect them, but just never "got" them. I would much rather have seen a full Faces 2009 Tour, with an appropriate bassist (sorry Flea, with all due respect) sitting in with Faces.
