A Black Key Teams Up With A My Morning Jacket!

Black Keys guitarist and vocalist Dan Auerbach has recently released a killer solo disc, Keep It Hid, and he's just days away from embarking on a 10-city solo tour!

Backing Auerbach during his sets is the awesome Texas band Hacienda (who will also open the shows), who we introduced you to a few months ago.

The bummer is that, due to a death in his family, drummer Bob Cesare won't be making the trek with Auerbach. In his place, though, will be My Morning Jacket monster Patrick Hallahan. (The last time we saw Patrick he was ecstatically spinning around in circles at the Silent Disco at Bonnaroo, but we're sure he's recovered from that!)

Real shame about Bob Cesare, his drumming is amazing, he's got some really interesting groves going on that really compliment Dan's songs, his style is quite unique and stands out on the album. Hopefully Bob will be back in the chair soon. The CD is great by the way, check them out if they're coming to a town near you..!

I wish the Black Keys and My Morning Jacket would play around Oklahoma sometime soon. Dan's new disc is great. Thanks for the previous 2 posts. I checked out Wake Up Lucid and I liked what I heard.
