Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan stars in this funny new video, a promotion for his upcoming shows with his freak show side project, Puscifer.
For the first time ever, Puscifer will play live, appearing for three nights at Las Vegas' Palms Casino Resort, beginning February 13th.
In the video, Maynard plays Major Douche, fielding questions from reporters about the show. He reveals that special guests for the Puscifer show include everyone from ex-Primus drummer Tim Alexander to actress Milla Jovovich.
When a "reporter" -- played by Tool drummer Danny Carey -- asks, "Will Tool be recording an album any time soon? Will A Perfect Circle?," Major Douche responds that the information is classified.
When we saw Maynard and Danny at a Grammy party last year, they told us that a Tool record was in the works.
That was nearly a year ago! What the fuck?! Hurry up!

All you people who are bitching about Maynard can suck a nut. stop acting like you've never been an asshole and that he needs to be perfect. there are numerouse diffrent reasons why he was like that. I'm possitive you have had bad days and been royal bitch's to everyone.
And to those of you who hated the pusifer album, It's a fucking side project he just wanted to try probably. let it go. don't call it garbage when your not doing anything worth talking about.

Let me tell you about the wine bottle signing from Maynard, it sucked!! He’s a real douche-bag and I’m glad I had the chance to tell him that after he signed my bottle of crappy wine. Everyone there was a Tool fan that was the only reason why we were there not because of his wine, we haven’t tried it yet and he didn’t have the courtesy of looking at you, shake your hand or even say hello. He banked from us just because we like his music and we thought he was going to be friendly, but he really sucks everyone left complaining about the way he behaved with his fans. I pulled a pocket calendar to see if he could sign it and he said NO! and security acted like I was handing him a bomb, then one of them ask me if I wanted to give the calendar to him and I said Hell NO it’s MINE!! And I yelled at him (Maynard) “You’re a douche-bag” and I left.
Everything was so fast that if you blinked you miss him, can’t even recall what he was wearing. At the end we spent 30-89 bucks for nothing.
I just needed to get this out of my chest.

TNA : Not really following the "new kids" or oxy pad references. Nor does my dislike of Puscifer imply that I would further subject myself to the mediocrity that is Creed. Let me ask you a question? When was the last time a band needed a publicity stunt to sell a GOOD record? And why would I waste hard earned money on an overproduced, underwritten, vanity driven pile of shite? Maynard's work with Tool and APC is incredible, but V is for Vagina only serves to highlight the fact that his talent is fully incumbent on the skill of the people with whom he is working. As a matter of fact, I actually feel sorry for Maynard, as his head is so firmly up his own ass he actually thinks people will buy this piece of garbage simply because his name is attached.

these other comments are just a few shelled up closet "new kids" fans who don't know a good publicity stunt when they see one.if you don't like puscifer here's a suggestion.break out your old creed cd's and oxy pads and leave the critqe for the more open minded and music oriantated.puscifer is what it is.if you don't like it throw on undertow and hope for the best.i'm sure there will be other APC progects in the future.maynard maybe strange, but everyone can smell green.look for a new tool release early 2010.APC fall same year.

Tool will always make my dick hard, but I am so over Maynard. The guy is a first class jerk-off. Is this supposed to be funny? Clever? Irreverent? Has anyone listened to the Puscifer record? What an absolute pile of garbage.

That is NOT Danny Carey who asks those questions, Danny is sitting to his left.
