We haven't spoken to actress Evan Rachel Wood in nearly two years, but we spoke with her this morning.
Here's the story:
We've been friends with Marilyn Manson for a long time, and every now and then, when we're in the Los Angeles area, we’ll stop by Manson’s home in Chatsworth for some tea and crumpets.
In March of 2007, we dropped by his pad to talk about his album Eat Me, Drink Me. After we took care of business, he introduced us to Evan, his girlfriend and the star of his video for "Heart Shaped Glasses." Evan was very sweet and, despite what anyone may have read into the situation, they seemed to be like any couple in love. That said, we spent a fair portion of the night with pellet guns in our hands, hunting for trespassers on Manson’s property.
We haven’t seen Evan Rachel Wood since that night, but we still consider her our buddy. (We'd take a pellet for her anytime!) Well, we did see her in The Wrestler, and her performance was truly fantastic.
Recently, Manson and Wood parted ways, and Wood has been single ever since.
There have been inaccurate reports in the press recently that link Evan to her co-star in The Wrestler, actor Mickey Rourke. The latest rumor is that they locked lips at the SAG awards ceremony a few nights ago.
With no other friend in the press to turn to, we heard from Evan this morning. She has been so distraught by these rumors, and the attention they have taken away from the brilliant movie, that she asked us to pass along this message. And we obliged.
"I’m upset because I feel disrespected by the press and by Mr. Rourke," she told us. "Just because I’m single doesn’t mean that you can take advantage of me. It’s unfair that the performances might suffer because of all of these distractions."
And regarding her alleged affair with Mr. Rourke, Wood says, "I'm not attracted to him, he's too old for me. Nothing ever happened and nothing ever will."

I heard a rumor some time ago that the Manson+Wood relationship crumbled due to the way Manson treated Wood's brother, any truth to this? Supposedly Manson was staying at Wood's home after he sold his Chatsworth property, however the move come with attachments. Apparently Wood's brother is living in the granny flat behind the mansion lolz. I can't imagine what's it's like to hear Manson sodimising your sister during the early morning hours, it seems Iva couldn't handle it.
Perhaps Manson pissed on Iva while he slept hahah that's something Manson would do hahahhahahaha

I saw pictures of Mickey whispering in her ear and he didn't seem to be hurting her in anyway, she was smiling. The wrestler is not her vehicle, its Mickeys, he's up for an award so I'm sure he doesn't need to disrespect his own picture,co-star, or anyone else. Mickey Rourke is a very respectful and very nice man. I never heard of this young girl and chances are we'll never hear of her again...Mickey Rourke is loved. U on the other hand, need to be respectful of others. I never heard Mickey Rourke speak of u...I saw him on Letterman and enjoyed every minute of it ! Why is everyone jumping ugly on Evan Rachael Wood? We don't know what did or didn't happen between her and Mickey Rourke but if she NEVER made out with or slept with him, then I'm glad she spoke up. Now Manson, he also is abusive, I don't believe so in a physcial sense but rather emotionally. You can see this behaviour evident during the GAOG tour towards John 5.
Manson lost a great guitarist because he couldn't stand the way in which John held his guitar; what the fvck is the matter with you Manson? Grow the fvck up! Also during the relationship with Dita, many interviews were conducted with the couple, Manson was on cocain (seems to have mellowed out since); his behaviour was erratic, embarrasing for Dita and as a result he lost his wife.
Look at Evan in that photo, what a beautiful woman! I would take her out for dinner, enjoy a drink than take her home offering a gentle massage on arrival.
I'm so lonely; time to put on some Roy Orbison and allow the imagine to run wild.

i think i know why all this as said by her...Rourke did not admit to her as a girlfriend on Larry King but passed it off as he is who is he is with, depending on what he has to drink (paraphrasing here)and confirming he was single...probably because he knew it's bad press to be dating her, because it looks so sleezy...so if she was really rumored to be giving other girls "death stares" at the SAG event, kissing him, and if here goal is to be or she wants to be his high-profile actress girlfriend, now she would feel "disrespected" because the rumors would not mean that they were a "couple", but that she was just hooking up with him, which makes her look cheap...THAT'S why I think she saying she feels disrespected by Rourke.
