A few months ago, Ben Harper demanded we check out Iceland's Mugison. We did, and we loved it enough to invite Mugi and keyboardist David Thor up to S.S. headquarters, where they played acoustic tracks for us like the stellar "Jesus Is A Good Name To Moan."

"It's an ode to the woman's orgasm," says Mugison, who's released five albums since 2003. "I used to be a sailor and I watched a lot of porn and I was always wondering why the women shouted 'Jesus' or 'God.' Mary, Jesus' mom, never had an orgasm, so I make the theory that that's why all women have to moan 'Jesus.' The poor lady."
