As a music fan, there are so many perks to living in New York City. The array of clubs and theaters and arenas and ballrooms and halls, the exclusive shows... There's always something cool to check out. Sometimes it's easy to take all of it for granted.
Once in a while, though, an event comes along that helps us put things in perspective. And that event is happening this evening.
Tonight, and tonight only, Vanilla Ice will be "drinking, dancing, rapping and partying the night away" at Manhattan's Turtle Bay bar.
Let it sink in.
