West slammed the MTV Europe Awards, calling the ceremony "fixed," and claiming that he only won the Urban award this year because he showed up to the event. "I won nothing last year and I'd brought 'Stronger,'" he said. "Then this year, just because I was there, I won Best Urban Act. This was Lil Wayne's year." (Agreed.)
He went on to denounce other "winners" of the awards show, saying, "Britney Spears over Rihanna? Are you serious? I mean, fucking Jared
Leto? He's my boy but he shouldn't have won over some of those other
artists." (Agreed!)
MTV shot back saying that the award West won was voted on entirely by viewers, while the rest of the top awards are chosen by MTV's academy of industry "bigwigs."
(Now we'd like to hear his thoughts on the Grammys, which are also a joke.)

I'm not exactly a Kanye fan (I find arrogance annoying), but I think his comments were spot-on, especially the one about Lil Wayne. And the fact that he concedes his success to Lil Wayne shows a lot of class that I wasn't aware he had. Way to go!

He and P.Shitty are nothing more than Karaoke Rap "Artists".
The only thing Kanye is actually good for, is his ability to butcher great old tracks he didnt write.
At least it reminds us of songs that came from a generation that created their compositions from scratch.

I want to know why MTV has a music awards show when they don't play any music anymore. They should have a reality awards show instead. I shouldn't have suggested this, cause now they probably will.
