During a radio interview, Slash got the chance to hear "Chinese Democracy" -- the single off the new GnR album -- for the first time. After he heard a brief clip of the song's chorus the guitarist said, "That sounds cool. It's good to hear [Axl's] voice again."
Slash added that he had known all along that the decade-in-the-making album would eventually be released, noting that "Axl has his own timeframe for how he wants to do things. Everybody said 'It's not going to come out.' But I said, 'That's not true, it will come out.'"
He added that he probably won't personally go to Best Buy to pick up the album. "I don't hang at Best Buy too often, but I have friends who can get me a copy."
Chinese Democracy is slated for a November 23rd release and will be sold exclusively at Best Buy stores.

You are a disgrace for even saying that this album is one. You suck dude. You are not even a fan of good rock. This is a GNR album for the modern times, and it still has its classic GNR sound. This album is by far one of the greatest rock albums ever and this album can compare to any Roses album except for appitite. Music today sucks, their is alot of garbage out there. i used to love music, but over the last few years i cant even turn on the radio or listen to anything because their is nothing real anymore. This album is a real heart felt album that is true and full of emotion and is real. This album should be number 1 and deserves more play. A masterpiece and finally i can listen to real music thanks to AXL.

After All,just look at the way slash is talking about GNR...it is the band who he once was a part of it...it IS actually cooool...no fight...he's relax with his life...really cool.

It could have been better.. More guitar, less electro shit in it.. and of course we would love to see the whole band back again.

Can't believe it took 13+ years just to put out a shitty album! Axl should have released this album as his solo album... it sounds nothing like the GNR we all came to love.

chinese democracy is a disgrace to the legend and legacy of the REAL G'N'R, AXL ROSE has totally ran this band into the ground and continually works to destroy all that this great band once was. Guns and Roses is the new Van Halen, congrats Axl you sociopathic, narcissistic moron, enjoy your SUCKSESS!

Album will be biggest buzz since last major GNR reording. I have heard most of Democracy and believe it is epic and historical. Axl Rose @ 46 is still magical and is a legend in the making.
