Classic Stoner Vid From Mercury Rev!!!

This new video from Buffalo's Mercury Rev is incredible! Spark a fat one and watch it immediately.

We asked the band for a little background, and Rev's guitar player, Grasshopper, was kind enough to reply:

"The video for 'Butterfly's Wing' is animated by DirtyUK, based on Japanese and contemporary illustrative techniques. The video portrays the story of an elephant and a delicate butterfly-cat as they go on a journey through very strange and enchanting lands. The elephant and butterfly-cat are great friends who also encounter strange plants that burst to life with intricate patterns, ink-splattered clouds, and some long beaked and winged birds. It's kinda like Harry Smith's 'Early Abstractions' meets Doremon in the midst of a Masamitsu watercolor."
