Autumn is barely here, but promoters and fans alike are already thinking ahead to next year's festival line-up.
The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has moved up by two weeks, now scheduled for April 17-19. The event will remain at Indio, California's Empire Polo Field and acts will be announced early next year.
It also appears that the dates for 2009's Bonnaroo have been leaked. Looks like it will go down on June 11-14 in Manchester, Tennessee.
We want Stevie Wonder to headline the 'Roo and My Bloody Valentine at Coachella. What about you?

#1- I saw all ya'll, so did Kanye (LOL :0)sitting on the stage.#2 ~Even cancelled* if it was The Dead, it's cool, Phish it's cool, etc. Never mind that, are you really telling me that Kanye had "some" kind of power to kik Phil off early (oh yeah sold out shows in stadiums for over 25 years!!!)dum-basses~Phil's money walks your bush-it talks, jus ask lil Wayne... as Kanye and Phil had an extended "joint session"- #3 Last year really brought out a lot of deep seeded racism amongst people, candy coated. You know when white folks first started to be turned on to rythem/blues-jazz it really wasn't "wide spreadly" exepted, the word- devil was even used to describe the sound, then came Elvis= then came jam bands, tada! By the way Ive heard my share of man bashing(disrespect) from every kind of women, black and/or white, disagree?!!! Can't anybody use google, look up the orgs. these "rappers" created, then compare your monotone precious jam band orgs, bagging your money at every show, where does it go?. Yo get real, make money, and sing about it, unless you got something to hide Dr. Jeckle!!! Face the music, you hear and see whachu want to, like a great magicians performance; The world is your magi.
By the way, seen Gerry 5 times, and how about you?

5 year roo vet | January 16, 2009 10:27 AM
has anyone here ever been to a lil wayne concert?????? because every person i've met whose seen him live said they were listening to warm ups for like 3 hours and then he comes out absolutely smashed/high and puts on a half ass performance for about an hour. Reminds me a bit of kanye's set. All these lil wayne supporters on this message board prove that bonnaroo isn't poser free. Please, no lil wayne.... I love hip-hop, gimme some OutKast, Nas, Cypress Hill, Atmosphere, The Roots, Kool Keith haha, but please.....no lil wayne..
Jessica | January 12, 2009 8:00 PM
PLEASE no rap. No Kanye, no *LITTLE* whatever. Anything else works. I'd love to see DMB. Anything but rap though, please.

Cypress Hill
Lil Hater | December 16, 2008 11:45 AM
Lil Wayne at Bonnaroo?? Are you people effing kidding me? He is the worst rapper ever. and the key word there is RAP. Let's keep the hip-hip coming, but hold the rap please. Lil Wayne condones violence, stealing and disrespects woman. He only raps about cars and money and "getting his". That is not what Bonnaroo is about. Bonnaroo is a community as well as a festival. Lil Wayne vibes are not needed. I am surprised by the amount of people that would like to see him there.
jrat3456 | December 15, 2008 5:20 AM
For Bonnaroo, I look for radiohead to headline after the success of In Rainbows '08 and an amazing late night set at the 'roo in '06...
would love to see OCMS supporting their new album on the Which Stage either Fri or Sat. afternoon
Incubus would be a good fit for the evening (pre-headliner) slot on Sat. or closing the fest on Sunday.
Primus reunion for Sat late night slot... definitely possible after the Outside Lands Fest
lastly, would love to see a Zeppelin reunion, but the Who are already playing some dates so they could be a good fit for the 'roo
JP | December 7, 2008 11:55 PM
I agree..
if theres going to be Kanye..why not add the johnas brothers too, and call it a recipe for failure...or the worlds worse festival
And PS | December 7, 2008 11:49 PM
No Kanye please!
What happened | December 7, 2008 11:48 PM
Phish at Bonnaroo
Bring it back to its legacy
lets not turn another amazing festival into woodstock 99
Allman Bros.
Gov't Mule
Moe
Ben Harper
Jack Johnson
The Gorillaz
The disco biscuits
primus
Xavier Rudd
lotus
Modest Mouse
Blind Melon
Phil lesh
Danny | December 4, 2008 11:37 PM
OK, first off- lil wayne does not deserve to be anywhere near bonnaroo. I at least some of the following should play.
Allman Bros (since they had to cancel last year)
Gov't Mule
Rodrigo y Gabriela
Ben Harper
Derek Trucks
Xavier Rudd
John Butler
Radiohead
...I hope one of these guys plays this year.
Kevin | December 3, 2008 10:39 AM
Please stop with all of the jam bands. They have their place at a festival like Bonnaroo, but let's be reasonable here, people. You can have your Phish and Widespread, but how about:
Genesis
Queens of the Stone Age
Nine Inch Nails
Steely Dan
Muse
Rush
Radiohead
Bela Fleck & The Flecktones
TV On The Radio
David Gilmour
Yes
Black Sabbath
A Tribe Called Quest (reunion)
Randall | December 2, 2008 1:33 AM
PHISH!!!!!
Grace Potter
Allman Bros.
Phil Lesh
Radiohead
North Mississippi Allstars
Seasick Steve
Granted, not all headliner popularity, but bands I wanna see again nonetheless.
PEACE!!
eric r | December 1, 2008 9:08 PM
Please oh please let phish headline! As far as stevie wonder definetly cool as long as he doesnt headline. I would also like to see moe. and girl talk have late night shows. Old crow would be cool too.
awd | December 1, 2008 8:50 PM
stevie wonder would be the best in a superjam with, dmb, john mayer, questlove, victor wooten, and robert randolph then zeppelin could make an appearance since 2 members have already performed at the roo
that bonnaroo would be the best
zsparker | December 1, 2008 5:19 PM
Headliners: Bruce Springsteen, Phish, 311, Red Hot Chili Peppers, or Stevie Wonder!
Whitey | November 30, 2008 11:07 PM
no rap at music festivals... hip-hop as the roots at the most... Kanye West sucked at Bonnaroo '08 so badly it was epic...
josey | November 27, 2008 7:54 AM
Who in their right mind would want linkn fart or succubus playing a quality festival. You little teeny boppers need to get a grip. As for Phish SEE YOU IN LIMESTONE!!!!!!!!!!
Sheepy is back. | November 26, 2008 11:56 PM
Lil Wayne would be so totally awesome, and I mean that from the lowest depths of my heart. Hmm, who else? Well, they should definitely bring back MGMT,they put on a hell of a performance in 2008 and would be a serious crowd pleaser. Just the mere idea of Justice coming and rock it out - or even Daft Punk- - is pure joy.
Who knows, maybe Amy Winehouse woulnd't be that bad either?
Check M83, too. Jaguar Love would be great as well.
There are so many bands that fit the open-mindedness of Bonnaroo that I could go on forever. My only qualm with the concert festival circuit is the sheer number of corporate vendors and just frivolous excess.
Seeing Kanye West was just interesting because its Kanye West. The show and integrity was reproachable.
joebiz | November 26, 2008 4:55 PM
Why not Nine Inch Nails at Bonnaroo? Live improv, and incredible light arrangements...
jorge | November 26, 2008 12:52 AM
RODRIGO AND GABRIELA!!
Jamie | November 25, 2008 12:30 AM
I want Metallica, O.A.R., and DMB back at the roo! I think John Mayer, Led Zeppelin, and the Eagles would be awesome there too..and there's an up and coming jam band out of Chattanooga,TN called Jettison Never that would be PERFECT for bonnaroo!
Anonymous | November 25, 2008 12:10 AM
ROO HEADLINERS SHOULD BE:
Friday: Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band
Saturday: Radiohead
Sunday: Phish
I doubt Radiohead will headline again so soon, but I couldn't think of any modern rock band I'd rather see headline.
Anonymous | November 24, 2008 6:01 PM
Soulive/ Lettuce
PHISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kbell | November 22, 2008 4:48 PM
Prince!!
Pepper
Pearl Jam
My morning Jacket
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Rolling Stones
Incubus
Daft Punk
LP | November 21, 2008 11:01 AM
Pink Floyd would be really amazing...but highly unlikely with no Richard Wright. :(
Steve Miller Band would be fun.
The 'Roo is always amazing regardless. :)
Nick | November 20, 2008 2:03 PM
i think bonnaroo headliners should be...
-wilco
-radiohead
-flaming lips
-david bowie
subheadliners...
-tv on the radio
-animal collective
-sonic youth
-lcd soundsystem
Wilco might be considered subheadliner and sonic youth headliner but im not sure. I think this would be possible, flaming lips releasing new album in spring, bowie wants to do summer tours, radiohead is doing late spring tour, wilco probably will do bonnaroo, tv on radio new album, animal collective new album in january, and lcd releasing new disco album apparently
MATT | November 17, 2008 8:52 PM

I'm all for Lil Wayne at Roo! Jam bands are fine but I want diversity. He may be mainstream but he's one of the best wrappers out there, and I'd love it if he could show Kanye how to really put a show on.
Disappointed | November 12, 2008 7:38 AM
I'm kinda disappointed with all these people saying they would like to see lil wayne at roo... it is the one event where people can escape mainstream rap (except kanye..unfortunately) but anyways lets not ruin a good thing here... keep the mainstream rap out please
LP | November 7, 2008 2:28 PM
311, Rage Against The Machine, and Phish for Bonnaroo. A little bit of everything...
Gorillaz would be sweet too...
Never been to Coachella...sure it's as awesome as the Roo always is....
cory deeter | November 7, 2008 12:49 PM

Nick | November 6, 2008 10:42 PM
Daft Punk at Bonnaroo 2009 please! Red Hot Chili Peppers, Incubus, Linkin Park. Oh yeah.
MGMT AGAIN PLEEAASE!!
Stevie Wonder would be a great success as well.
Nick | November 6, 2008 10:41 PM
Daft Punk at Bonnaroo 2009 please! Red Hot Chili Peppers, Incubus, Linkin Park. Oh yeah.
Stevie Wonder would be a great success as well.
J-Roc | November 6, 2008 7:09 PM
There is no way Phish would play Bonnaroo next year. They are a band that can draw a crowd larger than Bonnaroo's annual population to a festival devoted solely to them ie IT, The Great Went etc. Sorry broheem.
B-Rock | November 4, 2008 12:30 AM
Pearl Jam again would be awesome! Would love to see what Eddie will say next time! Led Zeppelin, Tool, Linkin Park, Phish, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Old Crow Medicine Show, John Digweed
Jay | October 30, 2008 9:34 AM
I'm all for stevie wonder, but not headling,
I wanna see kings of leon, and i agree, the roo should be jam bands, not lil wayne

i vote lil wayne, pearl jam again, jason mraz, and john mayer at the roo. Charlie Murphy would be awesome at the comedy tent..hah
Jen | October 20, 2008 1:39 AM
epicness...love it
Bonnaroo needs to stick with what it does best: jam bands.
I haven't been to coachella yet...how does it compare to roo?
shiggity | October 16, 2008 5:47 PM
Stevie wonder would be awesome!
