Russell Crowe: "At my signal, unleash Snoop."

Actor Russell Crowe has backed Snoop Dogg’s attempts to gain a visa from the Australian government. Snoop was denied a visa in 2007, and again this August. Snoop is hoping to launch an October tour Down Under with Ice Cube, but the Aussie government maintains their decision by stating that many residents who are leery of Snoopaloop's criminal background have filed “complaints” against him.

Enter Crowe, the motherfuckin' Gladiator.

“I have known Snoop Dogg for three years," Crowe wrote in a letter written to Australia’s Minister of Immigration. "He poses no threat to Australia or to any individual in this country."

Update: The Australian Department of Immigration has lifted the ban on Snoop, granting him a visa to tour next month.
