Linkin Park's New Drug

Last week, we ran into Chester Bennington and Joe Hahn from Linkin Park. Chester told the S.S. that he's wrapping up work on his solo CD, which kick-started the following exchange:

S.S.: We've been waiting a long time for that solo record!

Chester: I know, dude. I know. The problem is that I got this thing called Linkin Park. And it's getting in the way of stuff. Hopefully [the solo CD] should be done before we go back in and do the next Linkin Park record in November.

S.S.: Tell me about the L.P. record.

Joe: It's going to be an amazing multimedia experience. Audio, of course, but also lots of visuals and interactivity.

Chester: And we've created a new designer drug that is legal. We'll be lacing every album with it and it will actually make people our slaves.
