According to widespread internet rumors and a strong hint from Fred Durst on his MySpace, it appears Limp Bizkit have a reunion in the works. Here's what Durst blogged, coupled with our heartfelt comments.
Durst: "It is getting very close to time to drop the bizkit on the universe."
S.S.: For the love of God, don't drop the Bizkit. Leave the Bizkit wherever it is. Don't touch the Bizkit.
Durst: "We, Limp Bizkit, are excited about the future for us and for you."
S.S.: If there is chance of our paths crossing in the future, or of us having to listen to a new Limp Bizkit song, please kill us now.
Durst: "LBF is the
way. LBF is for life. Let's stir some shit up my friends."
S.S.: Stirring is not a good idea. Stop stirring. Thank you.

Wow, what is the world coming to with these unprofessional writers and bloggers. Whoever posted this needs to get a life. Good luck.
Free4Alll | September 7, 2009 10:46 PM
Oh good, I wanted to get in a rape at a concert. Speaking of financial meltdowns, I guess 30 million+ people can be suckers while a few milk the system. Durst = Madoff. He destroyed Rock, he destroyed Woodstock. He is the Dick Cheney of tat. And I do mean dick.
Jurko | April 23, 2009 10:58 AM
Fucking haters. I still love their old songs, will go to their concert, and I ain't shamed! Don't take them to seriously, it's still a fun band back from the 90's and I love that time more than anything!!!! Limp Bizkit, RIGA IS READY!!!!!!!!

Evan FAINE | September 26, 2008 5:55 PM
Limp Dickzit blows.
gastroparesis1 | September 26, 2008 5:19 PM
bad publicity is still publicity- rolling stone are indirectly supporting limp bizkit.
4 such a lame band (that incidentally sold 33 million albums)- there seems 2 be quite a response here on this page
i suppose its now cool 2 hate the bizkit
but tell me seriously are fall out boy emo and jonas brothers any better? and how will they be remembered?
bandwagonassholes | September 26, 2008 5:10 PM
Be objective, people: they weren't THAT bad. In fact, I would rate their stuff 8/10. I don't love 'em, (I haven't listened to one of their albums in 6 or 7 years, actually), but there's plenty of shitty music out there that's getting your money, so stfu. Yes, Durst is a douche, but so what? Differences aside, Joey Ramone was a republican. Did that stopped you from making The Ramones a huge band?
LaserRocketArm | September 26, 2008 4:34 PM
Was one lemon to the nuts in Chicago not enough, Fred? You suck! Stay retired!
duchampy | September 26, 2008 4:03 PM
drop the bizkit?
drop the bizkit?
DROP THE BIZKIT?
ok. who cares how popular they were. who cares who liked them or not.
i just read the words "drop the bizkit" in a nationally syndicated magazine/website/whatever.
its official. we are morons.
richard cheese | September 26, 2008 3:52 PM
Yea, RS did indeed tout the positive aspect of LB back in the day. But they blew then and I'm sure they'll blow now. The Who cover was a friggin travesty. The Billy Joel comment made me chuckle. What a knob.
Sense | September 26, 2008 3:41 PM
Fred Durst is one of the worst songwriters/ singers in the history of pop rock rap music. Please god don't let this happen. Just when the kids are starting to take music seriously again, the last thing they need is some crappy & angry suburban white boy rap rock.
Phil | September 26, 2008 3:07 PM
UGH! Good God no.
Are u Serious | September 26, 2008 3:03 PM
I just read a story from Fred durst where he said "that guy(FD of LB) is backstage somewhere and ain't never gonna come back" He supposedly has become a movie director. He is and never will be anything without Les.
give me something to break | September 26, 2008 2:48 PM
Plenty of people like plenty of retarded things. Way of the world. Honestly, though, if you like them... wow. WOW.
AxlRose | September 26, 2008 2:38 PM
Not sure why RollingStone is dissing Limp Bizkit all of the sudden. They do an article on Clay Aiken being gay, praise the Jonas Brothers but Fred Durst is on their shit list? Assinine.
Anonymous | September 26, 2008 1:43 PM
as much as they suck, I wouldn't mind hearing about them (and how bad they are)as opposed to another million RS articles with writers swooning over Conor Oberst, Arcade Fire, or Rilo Kiley...YOU LIKE THEM, WE GET IT!! Until CO turns water to wine or resurrects the dead, I refuse to fall in line and obsess over how "deep" his (and others like his) music is...
Roy | September 26, 2008 1:39 PM
So RS prefers the Disney Club over Nu-metal Limp Bizkit? Pathetic!!!!
Red Sovine | September 26, 2008 1:02 PM
Jesus, who cares? Well, not even Jesus. LB could never have even formed, and the music world would never have noticed.
By the way, what the hell does "LBF" mean? Limp Bizkit Fuck? Who knows? Who cares?
Harry Peratesties | September 26, 2008 12:56 PM
RS, you gave the Jonas Brothers 3 stars and you're ripping on Limp Bizkit?
Pick and choose your battles you idiots.
Just For Men | September 26, 2008 12:54 PM
Fred, you look live you've aged 25 years since we last saw you in 2001. Is this the result of too much Nookie?
Perhaps shave off the mini Bin Laden beard and put the Yankees cap back on bud.
IdahoDem. | September 26, 2008 12:53 PM
There are bands worse than this putting out records and we dont have RS writing smack about them. It will warrant a look when you to iTunes or wherever. A new record will be just as disposable as the last one. No, it will not be relevant but very little actually is. Let them pretend to channel past glory. Posers and wanna-bes are everywhere, how is this different i.e Britney Spears,Jessica Simpson,Vanilla Ice, etc.
Curly Stooge | September 26, 2008 12:51 PM
RS gave Chocolate Starfish 4 stars.
DORF | September 26, 2008 12:32 PM
I hate Limp Biz-dick (along with most nu-metal), but if they wanna get together, more power to 'em. Doesn't mean I have to listen to them. Give me King's X or Iced Earth any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
Jaysun | September 26, 2008 12:26 PM
Wes is going to marilyn manson. he won't be going back to LB.
indian | September 26, 2008 12:18 PM
i wouldnt mind hearing nookie again
Nut | September 26, 2008 10:52 AM
The Bizkit was always Limp, Fred. PLEASE don't drop it again.
Bubba Wan-Kenobi | September 26, 2008 9:49 AM
Is that a picture of Limp Fred?
one more | September 26, 2008 9:39 AM
please Wes come back
Bethica | September 26, 2008 9:28 AM
A-HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
If you're a fan or not, I don't care who you are - that's funny as hell.
"S.S.: For the love of God, don't drop the Bizkit. Leave the Bizkit wherever it is. Don't touch the Bizkit."
That killed me.
*still snickering*
sweetfly | September 26, 2008 9:27 AM
why is there a picture of billy joel at the top of a limp bizkit article
Anonymous | September 26, 2008 8:33 AM
Half the people bitching about Bizkit reuniting are the same people who supported them the first time around. I don't care for them either but come on. They wouldn't do it if people weren't asking for it.
Metzelder | September 26, 2008 5:50 AM
F**k you RS. Limp Bizkit Rocks and you know it! Now you say to not bring LB back, but in "Significant Other" times, you earn your money because of them.
ehh whatever.. | September 26, 2008 3:57 AM
They were a fun band...and wrote some catchy tunes...it is easy to get pissed off at yourself for buying some of their cd's back in the day...but if you just look at them as being a fun band...there really is no harm in it....haha I love how he said "drop the bizkit"....he is just looking to piss off people...haha
jeff williams | September 26, 2008 3:53 AM
limp bizkit is good...results may vary was good...the lyrics obviously get sketchy but so does half of kid rocks stuff and everyone wants to label him the modern day messiah....new limp bizkit would be awesome....relevant? who the hell cares, its relevant to any limp bizkit fan....and by the way, rolling stone flip flops on these artists worse than anything ive ever seen
saad | September 26, 2008 1:55 AM
eh...if they come back...good luck to them...they were never good...even though they weren't completely horrible...so it's harmless...as long as they don't win any grammys....
Geoff | September 26, 2008 1:31 AM
They had a couple songs I couldn't help but like, but overall I found it hard to truly respect them as musicians. As for the above comment on Linkin Park, I didn't want to like their latest album at all and somehow found myself loving it.
I'm proud to say I can go to Radiohead, TV on the Radio, The Cure, and others when I want to think. But that doesn't mean I can't go to the Bizkit to gimme something to break!
Zombie | September 26, 2008 1:18 AM
Lorraine Ali's 1999 review of Limp Bizkit's Significant Other, that is ... three-and-a-half stars, believe it or not.
Zombie | September 26, 2008 12:53 AM
Lorraine Ali, in her 1999 , wrote this about Limp Bizkit:
"They're actually (gulp) good."
Johnny Drama | September 26, 2008 12:48 AM
Should a 40yr old man still be talking like a frat-boy douchebag? When Fred talks comeback, he means opening for Warrant at a summer fair near you.
shemp | September 26, 2008 12:08 AM
These guys sold 33 million albums. Which means, essentially, that somebody bought 'em, even, as is likely, some of the people who claim they hate these guys anymore. And, uh, didn't Rollingstone give their Chocolate Starfish album like 3.5 stars back in the day? Which is relevant, especially since RS never sucks the spinning corporate money cock. Never.
Bizkitfan | September 26, 2008 12:06 AM
Everyone hates limp bizkit because everyone else hates limp bizkit. I have heard plenty of bands that are popular that sound like complete shit. Take linkin park. Everyone loves them now but in 5 years time they will be laughed at like limp. Limp Bizkit put out some damn good music in their day, especially their early days. Give them a chance before you jump on the bandwagon and start hating.
Crisco | September 26, 2008 12:00 AM
I'm not the biggest LB fan in the world, but I don't mind saying that - back in the day - I used to crank up their shizz and rock out.
I'm in aggreeance that their new music probably won't be relevant, but who cares...let the boys make some more music, and we can judge for ourselves.
bennie new york | September 25, 2008 11:52 PM
i'm not ashamed to say that i like limp bizkit and i'd certainly go to a reunion show. but note to fred durst: any music you put out will not be relevant. i witnessed the disaster that was results may vary. if youre the leader of a band like limp bizkit, the worst thing you can do is take yourself seriously.
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo | September 25, 2008 11:50 PM
Now I know the end is coming
Nick | September 25, 2008 11:03 PM
I remember when I was coaching soccer, I discovered that one of my boys was listening to Limp Bizkit on his CD player between games. The following week at practice, I made him run laps.
j. | September 25, 2008 10:39 PM
FINALLY!!! BEST NEWS ALL YEAR!!
they sold almost 30 million albums....theres a good chance that everyone on here hating bought one of them too.
Kang | September 25, 2008 9:48 PM
It's all about the nuki the what the nuki so you can take that cookie and shove up you aaa shove up your aaaa
how could you not be excited about such modern poetry.
Guess the movie career was not working out so well.
MIKO JONES | September 25, 2008 9:02 PM
Hey man they had some lame songs but also had some pretty fun songs....if it sucks then we wont listen. I am hoping the original guitarist is on board if not then yea it will be junk
sneaky deeds | September 25, 2008 8:57 PM
u cant mess with the bizkit!
nookie | September 25, 2008 8:56 PM
thank you mr durst, finally some real music!
Anonymous | September 25, 2008 8:27 PM
Just a chance dammit! A chaaance!
Anonymous | September 25, 2008 8:26 PM
All he is saying, is give limp a chance.
THX-1138 | September 25, 2008 8:22 PM
First things first: Fuck Fred Durst and fuck Limp Bizkit. He is partly to blame for destroying the current rock landscape. Secondly: why does he look like he's 50 years old? He's still in his thirties.
As Trent Reznor so eloquently put it almost a decade ago: Limp Bizkit sucks and everyone knows it. Fred Durst can surf a piece of plywood up my ass.
J Noles | September 25, 2008 8:22 PM
I'd rather take the verbal onslaught at my second to last job for the next 100 years than hear anything else by that... I don't know how there is anybody that can say they are a band.
Marty | September 25, 2008 8:05 PM
I think he should be thrown into Guantanamo Bay for threatening to drop the bizkit. The only good bizkit is a chicken in the bizkit.
Anonymous | September 25, 2008 7:55 PM
Nu-Metal is ALMOST EXTINCT! Korn is practically gone and Linkin park are about to run out of fuel as well. This return is worse that the forthcoming of the four horsemen. I'm sorry,Im not a Metallica fan, but I'd rather have another St. Anger album than a reunion by them.
Robbie | September 25, 2008 7:52 PM
First the economy falls, and now this? How will America survive the future?
Anonymous | September 25, 2008 7:50 PM
Please choke yourself, Mr. Durst.
Jimmie | September 25, 2008 7:49 PM
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
MrBrownstone | September 25, 2008 7:46 PM
I seem to remember Rolling Stone kissing Limp Bizkits ass pretty hard for quite awhile, guess they're part of the fuck Limp Bizkit bandwagon now, just like everyone else.
