AC/DC will embark on a massive world tour -- their first since 2001 -- behind their new studio album, Black Ice (out 10/20). The tour kicks off October 28th in Wilkes Barre, PA and will take the band across the US beginning with arenas, followed by stadium shows next summer. Gigs in South America, Europe and Asia will be announced shortly. Tickets go on sale September 20th for the following dates and will be available through Ticketmaster or the band's website.
We went up to the Sony HQ's last month to hear Black Ice, and it fuckin' blew our minds. We can't wait for you all to hear our favorite jam, "War Machine." It's one of their greatest songs EVER.
On our trip to Sony we also inquired about AC/DC's massive "Hell's Bell" prop. No word yet on if it will accompany the boys on tour. But we learned that it's currently residing in a storage facility near Chicago. (Thankfully, Chicago is only 685 miles from Wilkes-Barre, should Hell's Bell be summoned.)
