Glad to hear Powell's opinions, and I hope he does become a part of our new administration. As someone that has occupied a major role in our government, and has gracefully voiced his concerns over the years, I certainly value his take on things. Well stated, General Powell.

LOL.....I love comments like that. It demonstrates the reason I'm no longer a Republican. The hypocritical ignorance the "New" Republican Party embraces is an affront to the intellectual integrity of past stalwarts like Barry Goldwater, Nelson Rockefeller and William F Buckley. Unfortunately for the "New" Republicans, the greater electorate has finally awakened to the fact that they sold their souls to uneducated rednecks and religious nut cases. I mean, how DO you fall so far as to go from Barry Goldwater to Sarah Palin?
The "New" Republicans will get stomped, and stomped good come November 4th. Maybe then they will do some genuine soul searching and realize they must return to advocating true conservative ideals like fiscal responsibility and social liberty. To paraphrase Barry Goldwater, the Religious Right needs a boot up their asap from the Republican Party!

Colin Powell is a lifelong moonbat liberal RINO who thinks racial quotas aka affermitve action are better than making things on ones own achievements and is also pro-death on abortion so why wouldn't he endorse Obama. The endorsement is all about race and race only.

Mr Powell, thank you for a very nice and well thought out announcement, Beautifully said, and I think you said enough,People need to understand this right now, it not about parties you belong to, it's our counrty, it's our lives, and it's more importantly our children and grandchildren lives that this election will effect the most. thanks
