WYCLEF JEAN and his wife debuted their Fusha couture collection during New York City's Fashion Week, which opened today . . . THEY MIGHT BE GIANTS documentary Gigantic will be released on DVD with more than four hours of extra footage on November 18th . . . BON JOVI will release This Left Feels Right, an acoustic album of their hits, on November 4th. The set will also feature two new songs . . . Face to Face, the album JOHN LEE HOOKER was working on at the time of his death last year will be released on October 28th. VAN MORRISON, GEORGE THOROGOOD, WARREN HAYNES, DICKEY BETTS and JOHNNY WINTER are among the guests . . .

SEAL's "Waiting for You" has been tapped by Law and Order for various television and radio advertisements . . . Now We Are 20, a collection of DEAD MILKMEN odds and ends will be released on October 28th along with a new DVD, The Dead Milkmen Present . . . SPARKLEHORSE, who open for R.E.M. from September 23rd through October 4th, have been working on a new studio album due next summer . . . GRANT LEE PHILLIPS, JIM LAUDERDALE and ROSIE FLORES will perform at a tribute to GRAM PARSONS in Nashville on September 19th, the thirtieth anniversary of his death . . . BERNIE LEADON, who has played with the EAGLES and FLYING BURRITO BROTHERS, will release a new album, Mirror, on September 30th . . .

NO DOUBT have recorded a cover of TALK TALK's 1984 hit "It's My Life" for a greatest-hits collection due in November . . . GEORGE HARRISON's custom-made Rosewood Telecaster, which he played at the BEATLES' final concert on the roof of the Apple Records building in 1969, will be auctioned through eBay starting Saturday . . . BEANIE SIGEL was cleared by both state and federal judges to enter a Minnesota drug treatment facility. The troubled rapper was being held without bail for a series of weapons possession and probation violation charges . . . Project Islamic Hope, the National Alliance for Positive Action and the National Black Anti-Defamation League are calling for a national boycott of NELLY's new Pimp Juice energy drink.

The PEER-TO-PEER trade association announced that it will reimburse a twelve-year-old New York City girl and her mother after they were fined by the RIAA for file sharing . . . PETE YORN and MINIBAR will begin a eleven-date tour on October 14th . . . JOHN DENVER's "Sunshine on My Shoulders" is being turned into an upcoming children's book, the first in a series based upon the late singer-songwriter's tunes . . . FLAMING LIPS frontman WAYNE COYNE and producer DAVE FRIDMANN have remixed "Tubthumping" for CHUMBAWUMBA's new album, Readymades and Then Some, due October 21st . . . Teenage MC/producer DIZZEE RASCAL won the U.K.'s Mercury Prize for Boy in da Corner on September 9th, beating albums by COLDPLAY and RADIOHEAD . . . LINKIN PARK plan to release a live album and DVD in November culled from their Summer Sanitarium Tour appearances . . . PHISH bassist MIKE GORDON has lined up a nine-date tour to launch October 5th in San Francisco . . . CESARIA EVORA kicks off a tour behind Voz D'Amor on October 26th in Miami.

AALIYAH's parents have reached an undisclosed settlement against the company that operated the plane that crashed, killing the singer in 2001 . . . PARTICLE will kick off a twenty-six-date tour on October 4th in Los Angeles. The band's next album, Launchpad, is due next year . . . Fans who buy MADONNA's new children's book, The English Roses, on Amazon.com will be granted access to a special audio message from the Material Girl . . . BOBBY BARE JR.'S YOUNG CRIMINALS' STARVATION LEAGUE will release an enhanced EP, OK, I'm Sorry, on October 21st.

MANDY MOORE will host the fourth annual "Women Rock!" concert to benefit breast cancer research. Moore will also perform along with MYA, ALISON KRAUSS, DOLLY PARTON and CELINE DION . . . BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN AND THE E STREET BAND have added a third show at New York City's Shea Stadium, set for October 4th . . . The NEGRO PROBLEM's STEW will begin a seven-date tour with DAN BERN on October 3rd . . . The DAVE MATTHEWS BAND will perform in New York City's Central Park on September 24th to benefit a pair of education charities. The show will be filmed and recorded for a DVD and CD.

A two-DVD DURAN DURAN video anthology is set for a November 4th release. The band's original lineup is planning a twenty-five-city U.S. this fall, it's first in nearly twenty years . . . GILLIAN WELCH, ROSANNE CASH, the GOURDS and NICKEL CREEK will perform at MerleFest 2004, set for April 29-May 2 of next year in Wilkesboro, North Carolina . . . DONNA SUMMER and producer GIORGIO MORODER have reunited for the first time in two decades to record a pair of songs for Summer's Journey compilation, due September 30th.

Last week, AVRIL LAVIGNE's "Complicated" became the 10 millionth song downloaded on Apple's iTunes Music Store. The online music venture has plans for further expansion this year: In addition to new iPods that are capable of holding 10,000 songs, Apple plans to launch its iTunes store for Windows before year's end, making its services available to PC users. Said COLDPLAY frontman CHRIS MARTIN, "We see these efforts as the future of our business."

LILLIX will headline the inaugural Warped Tour Ladies Lounge, to launch October 10th in Boston . . . LIBERTINES singer/guitarist PETE DOHERTY received a six-month prison sentence by the Horseferry Road Magistrates Court for breaking into the home of bandmate CARL BARAT . . . MASTER P's brother, rapper C-MURDER, appeared in a Gretna, Louisiana, courtroom yesterday as his trial began on murder charges for the January slaying of a local man . . . JANE'S ADDICTION have joined the lineup for the 2003 Gravity Games, set for September 12th near Cleveland. STATIC X and A SIMPLE PLAN will also perform.

LYNYRD SKYNYRD will include a bonus DVD with their latest album, Vicious Cycle, starting September 23rd . . . The EAGLES and DIXIE CHICKS will perform in Washington, D.C., on October 12th to benefit the Recording Artists Coalition . . . Manager DAVID KREBS filed a suit against AEROSMITH last week charging the band with making libelous statements that aired in an episode of "Behind the Music" last year . . . Murder, Inc. rapper D.O. CANNON was shot and killed in Queens, New York, on September 4th . . . The BARENAKED LADIES and TRAIN will perform on Alcatraz island in the San Francisco Bay on October 16th.
