Autumn is quickly approaching and that can only mean one thing -- Widespread Panic. The jam band that hails from Athens, Ga., is preparing to go out on tour once again.|

Panic, who made a name for themselves by touring incessantly over the last 10 years, always has the ability to bring fans to higher plains of ecstasy simply by playing music. Each year, Panic plays a special Halloween show and the band members even get dressed up in holiday garb. Last year, Widespread Panic brought their special show to Chicago's Aragon Ballroom and delighted their fans with tunes like "Coconut," "Chilly Water," Golden Earring's "Radar Love" and the Doors' "Riders On The Storm," which was the only time that song had ever been played by the band. This year, Panic will surprise a New Orleans audience with a couple of special sets. (Ari Bendersky)
