When RS wrote about the White Stripes in 2001, Jack and Meg White could still pull off their brother-sister act. White Blood Cells put them on the map that year, and two years later Elephant broke the Top 10. Fans are anxiously awaiting the delayed follow-up to Icky Thump while Jack White stays busy in the Raconteurs and the Dead Weather.
