Album Reviews
Few TV shows that went off the air four years ago can belatedly justify a soundtrack, but Freaks and Geeks does so with droll poignancy. A guitar-driven score, wince-inducing numbers from cast members and goodies by Joan Jett, Warren Zevon, Joe Jackson, XTC, Rush, the Who and Styx represent geekdom like tape on a pair of glasses.
