I loved Excitable Boy and Stand In The Fire back when they were out...long time ago.

I heard "The Envoy" was finally issued as a CD.
Long delay for some reason. This is a beautiful CD with great standard CD sound.

What struck me most was the maturity of Zevon's song writing, and the flexibility that is shown on this CD.

It's not Excitable Boy...a departure...it rocks, it ballads, it's a freakin great record! Buy it! I'm hooked on listening to all the stuff I glossed over again.

"Ain't That Pretty At All" it's just great. What a rocker...love it.

Opening tune tells a mideast tail...
An Elvis tune....
A tune with Lindsey singing crazy backgrounds...
More and more great stuff here....
The man was ahead of his time....
