Milwaukee's Violent Femmes, one of alternative rock's most enduring bands, announced this week that they are launching their own official website, www.vfemmes.com.|

The site features lyrics, video and sound clips, tour information and links to e-mail members of the folk-punk trio: Gordon Gano (vocals/guitar), Brian Ritchie (bass) and Guy Hoffman (drums).

In addition to working on their upcoming Interscope Records release, the group plans to chat with fans via the site sometime in the future. (Seth Hindin)
