Vida Blue, JSBX to Play Jazzfest

Superfly Presents lines up acts for New Orleans

Phish keyboardist Page McConnell's new band Vida Blue will perform as part of the sixth annual Superfly concert series, which will run April 26th through May 5th.

Hometown favorites Galactic will perform a trio of shows during the week with Ozomatli and Jack Johnson opening two of the nights. Galactic drummer Stanton Moore will also revive his side project, Garage A Trois, with guitarist Charlie Hunter and saxophonist Skerik for two nights. Other acts making appearances include the Radiators on April 26th, String Cheese Incident on April 27th and 28th; Jon Spencer Blues Explosion on April 29th; Moe on May 2nd; Gov't Mule, Les Claypool's Flying Frog Brigade and Bela Fleck and the Flecktones on May 3rd; North Mississippi Allstars on May 4th; and the Funky Meters on May 5th.

Tickets for all shows go on sale on February 22nd except for two shows at Tipitina's (Garage A Trois on May 1st and the North Mississippi Allstars on May 4th), which go on sale on March 5th.
