Alt-country's residing power couple Victoria Williams and her husband Mark Olson will leave their home in the California desert later this month to embark on a twenty-six-date tour. Olson, formerly of the Jayhawks , will do the opening act honors with his new band, the Original Harmony Ridge Creekdippers, but fans can expect Williams to join her husband for a few songs before beginning her own set. Williams is supporting her latest Atlantic release, Water to Drink, and Olson will soon have his own new disc to plug, My Own Jo Ellen, which comes out on Hightone Records on Oct. 17.
