Album Reviews
Van Zant are Southern-rock vets who have ended up country by default. Their older brother Ronnie was the lead singer of Lynyrd Skynyrd; the brothers in the band are Donnie, from .38 Special, and Johnny, who sang with the reconstituted Eighties version of Skynyrd. Their sincerity is evident, but they don't bring anything fresh to the cliches they're recycling here.

It's one of my favs, because it sounds great and was done by real professional musicians. And it totally fits in with a almost new type of genre, (i.e. Southern/Country/Christian), it sounds great! Would highly recommend!! Great job Van Zant brothers!!!
