Unwritten Law Come Bombing Back

Guitarist recovering from injuries sustained in attack

Southern California skate punks Unwritten Law will resume touring tonight in Chico, California, after injuries sustained by guitarist Steve Morris in a bizarre bomb attack last week forced them to cancel several dates over the weekend. Morris suffered injuries to his arms and eardrums when two dry-ice bombs allegedly manufactured by his neighbor exploded in his house last Thursday.

According to a statement by the band, Morris and his neighbor had an ongoing dispute over noise levels.

The first bomb landed on Morris' balcony but did not detonate. Assuming it was just an ice-filled water bottle, the guitarist picked it up and put it in his freezer. A second bomb then exploded at his front door. After Morris called the police, an officer and a security guard asked to see the initial bomb, which exploded shortly after it was taken out of the freezer, injuring all three.
