Twista was injured in a van accident yesterday that killed another passenger. The accident occurred in the early morning hours when the van veered off Interstate 90 near Erie, Pennsylvania, as Twista was returning to his native Chicago following a performance in Syracuse, New York. The rapper suffered minor injuries and was treated and released at a local hospital. Passenger Arthur Dixon, a member of Twista's security crew, died at the hospital. Five other men sustained minor injuries in the crash. Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.

Twista is touring in support of the two-million-plus-selling Kamikaze. Released in January, the rapper's breakthrough album has yielded the hits "So Sexy" and "Slow Jamz."
