Tricky will release his seventh album, Vulnerable, on June 17th on his own Brown Punk Records. The thirteen-track follow-up to 2001's Blowback, was recorded in Los Angeles and features vocals by Italian singer Costanza Francavilla.

"It's my most honest and open record," Tricky said as an explanation of the album's title. "I've stopped hiding and I'm allowing people to see different sides of the real me. Vulnerable is me breaking free and being myself again."

Vulnerable also features packaging designed by Tricky, including digital photographs that will appear in an exhibit at the Palais de Tokyo museum in Paris, starting April 29th. The CD will also include an interview with the artist, three short films and the video for the album's first single, "Antimatter," directed by Stephane Sednaoui, who has shot four previous videos for Tricky.

Tricky will begin a European tour in Italy in June, after which he'll come to the U.S. to help Francavilla promote her solo album, which will be issued on Brown Punk. Tricky will begin a tour of his own in the fall.
