Tentatively titled Product Of The Environment, the work features "interviews that Tricky's gotten with a bunch of London gangsters," says Dennis Dennehy, spokesman for the artist's Durban Poison label. "It's like 'Scared Straight,' but backed by Tricky's music."
Train robber Tommy Wisbey, "disposal expert" Tony Lambrianou and onetime Kray Brothers driver Jack Adams will be among the participants, according to British weekly NME.
No release date has been set for the album, which will street on
either Durban Poison or Island Records. However,
proceeds from the project will be used to set up a network of boys'
clubs across the UK.
